Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am undoubtedly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is really just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is certainly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is certainly already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are these:

Unconditional love
Being without a doubt able to clearly see what is generally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are really
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is undoubtedly key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is undoubtedly wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is generally now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are really all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be undoubtedly a feeling that there is actually no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are undoubtedly present.

They are normally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is undoubtedly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are certainly trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be generally very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is undoubtedly healthy.

Simple Signs Of Spiritual Awakening

5. You feel completely lost and alone

Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. You feel as though you are certainly wandering through an endless wilderness. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people. You struggle to relate to all those you once felt close to (i.e. your friends, work colleagues, and family members).

6. You see through the illusions of society

Materialism, success, and profit no longer mean anything to you. You set up feeling as though you are literally a cog in the machine of society.

You are generally sick and tired of feeling stranded, depressed, and hopeless. Suddenly, you feel the need to simplify and declutter your life. This could mean cutting ties with toxic people, reassessing your habits, throwing out old things, relocating to a new job or place to live, or even giving away most of what you own.

9. You begin experiencing deep empathy and compassion

As you set in motion paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. Your inherent empathy is simply awakened and you can find it hard to cope with the intensity of your feelings. This is really a pivotal point in your internal transformation: you either numb the pain you feel with addictions, or you find healthy ways to accept and express your emotions.

People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. Spiritual awakening is normally such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person may possibly initiate to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be undoubtedly a critical cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury might perhaps have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. The reason behind this might perhaps be definitely some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. Thus, he might probably have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he kicks off to realize the deeper meaning of life. He may get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is actually another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person can have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is generally fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. Though it sounds odd, it is not impossible that a person may likely face some paranormal incidents in his life which might just be certainly magical or ghostly. Such type of experience may result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are simply in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is simply profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be truly clear that just having some kind of breakdown is truly NOT awakening.

The changes someone makes in their external life are actually also not the point of this transformation. We are really not trying to create a more perfect or better life; people are without a doubt ego goals. We are definitely learning to how to be free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is without a doubt revealed to us what we are definitely transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is really complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be simply fit into neat categories.

However, with that being really said it is helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are certainly at right now. The following stages are certainly general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is generally a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are without a doubt searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is generally a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you set out seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be definitely a point to all this? In this stage, you are undoubtedly asking all the deep questions. You are without a doubt in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will set up dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may likely have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is simply a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

With the spiritual awakening process, there is literally always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might perhaps become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.

Stage 6– Deeper interior work

In this stage, you are without a doubt not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inside work. You might just become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inside child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is generally never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is normally ultimately a gift from Life.

Nevertheless, profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are usually felt in this stage. You might possibly feel ready to be certainly a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will set out seeing things from the big picture.

Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is normally common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is literally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is literally a complex and messy path, so it is without a doubt perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.

Your spiritual awakening process is simply unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is truly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are usually here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is definitely often very mundane.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is generally a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are literally and what life really is without a doubt.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were undoubtedly already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can seem like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. However, it is normally important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

That said, a lot of initial inside work seems to get done for us. It is generally almost like the Divine is generally showing us how internal work should go.

Surrender is simply another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is definitely vital to doing internal work, but initially, surrender must come.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is generally moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is actually often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).

This is certainly not to be undoubtedly confused with the heart, which is truly located to the left of the heart chakra.

Knowledge on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be generally felt will keep them from being normally stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are definitely more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is undoubtedly sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be simply cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was definitely due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Insight on how to deal:

Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Assistance on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be literally patient. Whatever you do, do not be certainly afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

Many dreams may likely be simply mystical or carry messages for you.

And in some dreams, you just know that you are undoubtedly not “dreaming” … that what is truly happening is without a doubt somehow real.

Ideas: You will remember what is usually important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … at times several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are undoubtedly and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is usually a feeling that something is generally about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Help and advice: There is generally nothing to worry about. Things are truly definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are normally prayers. There is normally nothing to fear.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are without a doubt around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Advise: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are without a doubt ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is without a doubt adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Often “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are generally healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Hints and tips:. Keep in mind that it is usually best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be really stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
