Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am normally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is definitely just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is literally an especially important to time to consciously choose what is without a doubt already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are definitely these:
Being definitely able to clearly see what is usually real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are definitely
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is literally wonderful.
This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is actually now in motion.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are simply present.
They are normally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.
The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are definitely being actually cured of the illnesses in which you have been definitely living.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is normally all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.
Many people are normally trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be normally very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is simply healthy.

As you activate paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. 10. You see that we are without a doubt all One
You realize that our thoughts and beliefs influence reality, and that we are truly all fragments of one great Whole– that is literally, Spirit. In some cases this stage can take years or even an entire lifetime.
Why Does Spritual Awakening happen
People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. Spiritual awakening is simply such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life.
If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person can set up to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?
1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be actually a significant cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may likely have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. The reason behind this can be some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. Thus, he might have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he initiates to realize the deeper meaning of life. Therefore, he may get his spiritual soul awakened.
2. A dream is literally another reason for spiritual awakening. Many times it has been literally seen that a person has dreamt of some deity or Goddess who has given some messages. From that time a person might probably have a spiritual awakening.
3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is certainly fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.
4. Though it sounds odd, it is certainly not impossible that a person may well face some paranormal incidents in his life which might be normally magical or ghostly. Such type of experience may well result in the spiritual awakening of a person.
These may perhaps suddenly result in spiritual awakening. The constant search for further questions might cause spiritual awakening inside that person.
Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are definitely out from the reality. It is really such a state of mind where you begin to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.
What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?
If you did have an awakening, you are truly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is usually profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.
I want to be undoubtedly clear that just having some kind of breakdown is actually NOT awakening.
The changes someone makes in their external life are really also not the point of this transformation. We are certainly not trying to create a more perfect or better life; people are really ego goals. We are usually learning to how to be undoubtedly free of ego.
To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is simply revealed to us what we are undoubtedly transforming into.
7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is simply complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be usually fit into neat categories.
With that being literally said it is normally helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are simply at right now. The following stages are general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are undoubtedly searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is simply a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
In this stage, you get going seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
In this stage, you are undoubtedly asking all the deep questions. You are without a doubt in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You might perhaps have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is generally a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
With the spiritual awakening process, there is usually always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.
Stage 6– Deeper internal work
In this stage, you are certainly not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inside work. You may possibly become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inward child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your internal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may well feel ready to be undoubtedly a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.
Note: it is without a doubt common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is literally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is really an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are definitely here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is often very mundane.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are definitely and what life really is without a doubt.
When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.
That said, a lot of initial inside work seems to get done for us. It is really almost like the Divine is really showing us how inner work should go.
Surrender is literally another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is certainly vital to doing personal work, but initially, surrender must come first.
When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is actually moving you, you also swim.
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is simply often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).
This is generally not to be really confused with the heart, which is usually located to the left of the heart chakra.
Guide on how to deal:
Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be undoubtedly felt will keep them from being normally stored in the body.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are certainly more sensitive to everything around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was truly due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Information on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is simply causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is simply hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Insight on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Frequently the dreams are certainly so real that you wake up confused. You may even have lucid dreams in which you are normally in control.
Many dreams may be normally mystical or carry messages for you.
And in some dreams, you just know that you are usually not “dreaming” … that what is simply happening is normally somehow real.
Consultation: You will remember what is literally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are without a doubt and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is literally a feeling that something is truly about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Advice: There is undoubtedly nothing to worry about. Things are literally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are definitely around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Tips: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are literally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is truly adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Guidance: Ground yourself by eating protein. Sometimes “comfort food” feels. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are truly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Directions:. It is generally best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be actually stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
